Elite Restorations handled the demolition, and from there our team stepped in to take care of everything related to rebuilding the shower properly — starting with what matters most: the waterproofing system.

At Masterix Builders, we believe many showers can look beautiful on the outside, but the success of a long-lasting shower begins behind the tile with a properly installed waterproofing system and a successful flood test. That’s why we installed a custom Schluter waterproofing system and completed a full 24-hour flood test before any tile installation began — whether required by the city inspection or not.

We upgraded the shower layout by expanding the space, creating a more open and comfortable design. The shower was finished with stunning 24×48 large-format tile installed all the way to the ceiling — including tile on the ceiling itself for a clean and luxurious look.

We also added:

To make the shower even more durable and low-maintenance, we installed the tile using epoxy grout, which comes with a lifetime warranty and offers superior resistance against stains, moisture, and cracking.
